"Urgo Sterile Compresses 7.5 x 7.5 cm 10 Sachets of 2 Non-Woven Compresses are sachets of 2 sterile non-woven compresses indicated for cleaning superficial wounds. Ultra-soft and not very adherent, they are particularly suitable for wounds requiring great softness. Absorbent and resistant, they are suitable for: the making of dressings for protection, compression after venipuncture or absorption of exudates from acute sutured wounds, post-operative wounds and superficial unsutured wounds. Compress dimensions: 7.5 x 7.5 cm. Medical device."
Viscose, polyester.
"Open the bag under sterile conditions. Clean and disinfect the wound and its surroundings with a compress, an antiseptic solution/soap or other active ingredient, then dry the wound with a compress. Carry out hemostasis if necessary (stop bleeding). Depending on the size of the wound and the quantity of exudates, cover the wound with 1 or 2 compresses. Fix with a plaster or any other means of fixing. Renew the dressing according to the instructions, 1 to 2 times a day depending on the prescription, the condition of the wound or the dressing. Regularly monitor the wound and its surroundings in order to detect possible signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, odor or suppuration. In case of doubt or infection, contact a doctor or a nursing service. A wound (or a cut) is qualified as superficial when it affects only the skin and the immediately underlying fat. If a superficial accidental wound is more than 3 cm, it is advisable to consult a doctor, within 6 hours of the accident, who will decide whether the wound should be sutured or treated (bonding with specific surgical glue, etc.). Single-use sterile compresses: do not reuse, do not keep compresses in an open bag, do not re-position a compress already applied, otherwise there is a risk of infection. Compresses sterilized with ethylene oxide, do not re-sterilize. Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use. Do not use if packaging is damaged. Do not use the compresses for more than 30 consecutive days without interruption. Do not use after the expiry date. Keep the sachets and compresses in their original box. Do not use in case of allergy to at least one of the components."
